An Instagram influencer, identified as Arun Kathare from JP Nagar in Bengaluru, has been arrested for posting a controversial reel featuring assault rifle-like weapons. The video, which went viral, prompted the Bengaluru police to register a suo moto case against Kathare.

The Viral Reel

Kathare’s reel depicted him and several other individuals dressed as bodyguards, brandishing AK-47-like weapons. That is something BlrCityPolice can answer.”

Another user, Lalith Kumar, appreciated the police’s humorous yet effective communication, stating, “Am of a feeling that someone who used to make memes before cleared the esteemed police services exams; the edits are really amazing and funny.”
